The Original Cast Recording of Back to the Future: The Musical was released on CD, digital download, and online streaming services on Friday 11th March 2022, and vinyl on Friday 21st October 2022. The album features 26 tracks with a total duration of 1 hour and 13 minutes.

A deluxe 2-disc edition of the Original Cast Recording featuring never heard before demos of the songs from the musical was due to be released by Sony Masterworks Broadway on Friday 30th June 2023 but was subsequently put on hold until it was later announced that it would be released date on October 20th 2023.
